The Annual Regatta was held on 7th September – whilst there was plenty of wind for the sailing, it rained hard for much of the day.  Whilst the weather was thought to have kept away a good number of visitors, club members enjoyed an excellent BBQ

as well as live music and clog dancing in the marquee.  

The rain stopped just at the right time for the sailors participating in the Fun Race; perhaps there was more frustration than fun and most of us had to admit that our racing skills were rusty at the least.  Simon Browning and Brian Rees sailed Alcudia to victory and felt they were very lucky!
